Right Worshipful Brother Bail grew up on a farm near Boonville, Missouri. He received both his undergraduate and law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. After law school, RWB Bail practiced law in Columbia, Missouri initially in private practice and then for over ten years as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Boone County. He has served as Cooper County Associate Circuit Judge since 2007.
RWB Bail is a member and twice Past Master of Wallace Lodge #456 in Bunceton, Missouri. He is a member of the Columbia Valley Scottish Rite, Knight Commander Court of Honor, Ararat Shrine Temple and Lodge of Research. He served on the Board of Directors for the Masonic Home of Missouri. During his service he was board secretary and chairman of the administration committee. He served the Grand Lodge as both Chaplain and Junior Grand Marshall before being appointed to the advancing line in 2020 by the late MWB Barry V. Cundiff.
RWB Bail and his wife Cathy have two adult sons, Landon and Carson. They are members of the St. John’s United Church of Christ at Billingsville, Missouri. He is a member of and past President of the Boonville Rotary Club and Friends of Historic Boonville.
