Right Worshipful Brother Duncan received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting and was commissioned as a Finance Officer in the U.S. Army in 1973. He recently retired after a long career in Banking where he served his company as a Senior Auditor and Senior Vice President of Operations. He is very active in his community and his Church where he has served as Chairman of his Church Council, President of the Lions Club in Chamois, Commander of American Legion Post No. 506 and President of the Special Learning Center in Jefferson City. Right Worshipful Brother Duncan lives in Jefferson City with his wife Ina. Steve and Ina are the proud parents of three children and four grandchildren.
Right Worshipful Brother Duncan has been a member of the Fraternity for over 45 years. He was raised in Chamois Lodge No. 185 in November 1972 and served as Master in 1978, 1987 and 1991 and currently serves as the Lodge Secretary. He has served on the Grand Lodge Committee on Ways and Means for several years, and has served on numerous other Grand Lodge Committees. He served on the Masonic Home Board of Directors from 2011-2014 on the Finance Committee as well as holding the position of Chairman of the Outreach Committee in 2013 and 2014. Right Worshipful Brother Duncan is also a member of the Columbia Valley, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry as well as a being a member of Victoria Chapter No. 14, Order of the Eastern Star in Jefferson City.
