RWB Gale F. Bennington

Gale was raised as a second-generation Mason at Craftsman Lodge #717, A.F. & A.M. formerly America Good Hope #218.  He is a member and Past Master of Noble Lodge #684.  He joined the St. Louis Scottish Rite and is a Knight Commander of the Court of Honour.

Bennington became a member of Moolah Shrine in 1985, served as Potentate in 2004.  He held the positions of Director General, Treasurer and Recorder.  He served as Moolah Circus Novelties Chairman and Circus Chairman.  He was appointed lifetime Ambassador of Moolah.  Gale currently serves on the Imperial Potentate’s Aides Committee.  He served as a voting representative on the Imperial Colorado Corporation from 2002-04 and is an Emeritus member of the Imperial Colorado Corporation.

Bennington received the DeMolay Honorary Legion of Honor and is a member of the Royal Order of Jesters.  He is an honorary member of the Drum Corps, Clown Unit, Directors Staff, Motor Patrol, MIDMO, ECMO & Three Rivers Shrine Clubs, and a member of the Ceremonial Cast and Arab Patrol.  He is Past President of the Order of Quetzalcoatl Arca 21.

Bennington served as Central States Shrine Director General and President 2013-14.    Gale served on the Board of Directors for the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic for Childhood Speech Disorders of St. Louis.

Gale volunteered his time on the Board of Governors for the St. Louis Shrine Hospital and was Chairman in 2019.

Bennington spent 45 years in the grocery industry with two firms, National Tea and Schnucks Markets.  Gale was employed as Administrator of the Moolah Shrine Center from 2014-2020.

Bennington and his wife Debbie have been married for 32 years.  Debbie became a team member of Wells Fargo Advisors in 2006.  She currently supports and manages several applications for the company’s 4000+ Financial Advisors which assists them in managing their client assets.

Bennington has two sons, Dave and Christopher, daughters-in-law, Erin and Anne and five grandsons David, Daniel, Thomas, Samuel and Alexander.
