RWB Michael A. Flagg

Michael A. Flagg grew up in Sikeston, Missouri and attended the University of Missouri, graduating in 1993. After a career in IT in Kansas City, Mike returned to school at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, obtaining a degree in nuclear engineering. He spent 11 years at the University of Missouri Research Reactor in Columbia, leading Applied Research and Development activities, helping launch several radiopharmaceutical products. He also has served as the Director of Clinical Operations for a clinical research organization dedicated to the support of human clinical trials and in project management roles. He currently works for BWXT Medical, Ltd, directing activities related to radioisotope supply for nuclear medicines. Michael served ten years as a volunteer Hazardous Materials Manager for Missouri Task Force One, a FEMA Urban Search and Rescue team.

He was raised to the sublime degree of Master Master in 2006 at Twilight Lodge #114 in Columbia. He is a twice Past Master there and currently serves as Treasurer. He is also a member of the Ways and Means Committee. He served as a Board Member for the Masonic Home between 2017 and 2021, serving as Secretary to the Board in 2019 – 2021 and chair of the Outreach and Administration Committees.

Mike was part of the committee that led the consolidation of Acacia and Twilight Lodges to form Acacia Twilight Lodge #114 and has served on several projects related to lodge building improvement and expansion.

Mike has a passion for Masonic history in the United States and Missouri ritual.
