We plan:
Light lunch 12 noon at La Plata No. 237, 209 E. Colbern St., La Plata, MO for Grand Lodge & Lodge No. 237 Officers, members and spouses.
Open Grand Lodge at Lodge No. 237 at 1:00 p.m. and practice for the Ceremony.
Conduct the Rededication Ceremony on Gex Street, City Square Park’s covered stage at 3:00 p.m. Ceremony open to the public. The stage is located about five (5) blocks from La Plata No. 237.
Following the Ceremony, close Grand Lodge at La Plata No. 237.
4:00 p.m. ice cream & cookies served to public at La Plata No. 237.
At 6:00 p.m., La Plata No. 237 members/spouses/children and Grand Lodge members/spouses/etc. are invited to W.M. Clayton Furman’s residence (27483 Quail Ln, Kirksville, MO 63501) for a BBQ picnic followed by a fireworks display on this 10 acre rural setting. The licensed pyrotechnic operator is Clayton’s uncle.
