Right Worshipful Brother Jonce Chidister was born in 1980 in Malden, Missouri. The son of a Mason, RWB Chidister petitioned Malden Lodge #406 on his 18th birthday and was raised to the degree of Master Mason the summer after he graduated high school. Later that year, he became a member of Four Mile Lodge #212 by way of consolidation and was elected Master in 2006.
In addition to Four Mile Lodge #212, RWB Chidister is a member of Solomon Lodge #271 in Springfield and Acacia Twilight Lodge #114 in Columbia. He served the Grand Lodge as DDGL of the former 40th District from 2007-2020. He is a past chairman of the Grand Lodge Committee on Jurisprudence and has been a member of the By-Laws Committee since 2011. In 2021, RWB Chidister was appointed to the Grand Lodge Advancing Line by MWB Ty G. Treutelaar. He holds memberships in the Scottish Rite Valley of Joplin (33rd Degree), the Springfield York Bodies, the Red Cross of Constantine, and Royal Order of Scotland.
RWB Chidister is a 2002 graduate of Missouri State University and a 2005 graduate of the University of Missouri School – Columbia of Law. He is currently in private practice in Kennett as an attorney with Dalton, Mowrer and Chidister, LLP, and is a shareholder of Dunklin County Abstract, Inc., a title insurance and real estate closing agency. He continues to live in Malden with his wife Danielle, and their daughter.
