Right Worshipful Brother Rick Kingcade was born in Kansas City, Missouri and was raised in the nearby suburb of Raytown. His professional career included a variety of commercial and entrepreneurial activities. He joined LabOne, Inc. in 1997 and spent 22 years with the organization and its successor Quest Diagnostics in a variety of leadership roles. He retired in 2020 after serving as chief operating officer of the ExamOne life insurance risk assessment subsidiary and has subsequently focused on real estate and small business endeavors.
RWB Kingcade began his Masonic journey at Raytown Lodge No. 391 in 1993. He has served in every lodge officer position including as Master and Secretary of Raytown Lodge No. 391, and as Master and Secretary of Sheffield Lodge No. 625 in Kansas City prior to its consolidation with Kansas City Lodge No. 220. He is currently a member of both lodges. Prior to his appointment as the 24th Grand Lecturer of the Grand Lodge of Missouri he served the Grand Lodge as District Deputy Grand Lecturer and as Regional Grand Lecturer. He currently serves as chairman of the Ritual and Public Relations committees, is a member of the Long Range Planning and Forms and Ceremonies committees, served on the special committee for redistricting in 2023-24, and has served as a member and chairman of the Grand Master’s Youth Charity Breakfast committee in Kansas City.
RWB Kingcade is a 32° Scottish Rite Mason and is an endowed member of the Kansas City Valley of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite where he has served as Venerable Master of the Lodge of Perfection. He is a member of the Missouri Lodge of Research, Ararat Shriners, is past Team Captain of East Gate Travelers Club, one of two certified traveling degree teams in Missouri, and also serves as a moderator for Grand Masters’ Chance to Advance classes. He holds all ten Missouri ritual subdivision instructor cards.
