8/23/2010	Passing of MWB Walter L. “Bud” Walker, Past Grand Master 1973-1974
Brethren: It is with sadness that I inform you of the passing of Most Worshipful Walter L. “Bud” Walker, Past Grand Master of the Grand Lodge A.F.&A.M. of the State of Missouri, on Friday, August 20, 2010. M.W.B. Walker served the Grand Lodge as Grand Master for the 1973-1974 Masonic year. Visitation will be held Monday evening, August 23rd, from 5:30 to 6:30 P.M., at the Clark Funeral Home, 312 South Wood Street, Neosho, Missouri 64850. (417-451-2345) Masonic services will follow the visitation, beginning at 7:00 P.M. with M.W.B. Glenn E. Means officiating. Memorial services are to be held at 2:00 Tuesday afternoon, August 24th, at 1st Christian Church, 1314 Oak Ridge Drive, Neosho. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Masonic Home Kansas City Facility or to Stella Lodge No. 538, in care of Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, Missouri 64850. RW Brother Elmer "Joe" Slader was elected to the position as Master of Mountain Grove Lodge #158. Also elected were RW Brother Dennis Smith as Senior Warden Brother Lee Mohrbacher as Junior Warden RW Brother returns as Treasurer and Brother Robert Mastromarino returns as Secretary. RW Brother Joe Slader will appoint remaining open positions before the regular stated communication on September 11th 2009, when officers are to be installed.

4/20/2007	California F.&A.M. Ritual in Missouri	Marceline #481
On the evening of the 19th of April 2007, Bridgeton Lodge #80 hosted (under dispensation of the Grand Lodge of Missouri)the performance of California F.& A.M Ritual of opening and closing Lodge on the 3rd degree. This event was attended by forty plus members of Bridgeton Lodge #80 and visiting brethren. With Bridgeton Lodge's sitting Master and at least one other brother in the Lodge being Past Masters from California and their dedication and work with other brothers to educate and learn the ritual of another Grand Jurisdiction, the evening was a very impressive display of the 'different but same' work that pervades Freemasonry! Congratulations to Bridgeton Lodge #80!
