RWB John L. House

Right Worshipful Brother John House was born in Springfield, Missouri, December 1958 and has spent all of his life in the Mansfield, Missouri area.  He and his wife, Jana were married on September 30, 1989. They share three adult children and five grandchildren.

John is a retired Springfield Fire Department Captain, having served a total of 27 years with the department. During his employment career, he has also worked as a welder, a shoe repairman, a county appraiser, and a grocery store manager.

John was initiated, passed and raised in Mansfield Lodge #543 in 1980, serving as Master in 1986. He served as DDGM of the 46th District in 1987-1988 and as DDGL of the 46th District 1991-1992, then again as DDGL of the 45th District in 2013. John joined Valley of Joplin Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite in the spring of 1988. John has served as Director of the 20th degree for many years and was honored with the decoration of KCCH in the fall of 2013.

He became a Plural member with Ava Lodge #26 in 2010 and was elected and served as Master in 2013 becoming the first 3rd generation Master of that lodge. His father, Ronnie having served in 1959 and his grandfather, Ovle in 1936.

John has served on numerous boards/committees and been active in many civic organizations in the Mansfield area. He is also a member of Mansfield OES #62.
