RWB A. Freeman Stanfill

Right Worshipful Brother Freeman Stanfill was born on June 28, 1943 to Walton and Francile Stanfill in rural Amoret, Mo he was raised in the same house he was born in. He started his education in a one room school close to his home. He graduated in 1961 from Miami High School with excellence in industrial arts. Having been active in the family farm for years, after graduating he was rapidly absorbed into farming full time.
He married Glenda Hill in 1964, they have two children Crystal and Douglas, a fifth Generation Mason, four grandchildren and several step-grandchildren.

After suffering heart problems in 2000, he resumed his love for woodworking, starting Miami Creek Millwork, crafting woodwork and Doors for many homes, not only in his local community but in the Kansas City area.

Freeman started his Masonic career in 1964 in Amsterdam Lodge #141, following his Great Grandfather, Grandfather, and Father. He served as Master four different years starting in 1964 to 2006. He was DDGM for five years in the early eighties.

He joined Scottish Rite in 1966, becoming Commander of the Council of Kadosh in 1980, and many other offices including four years as Personal Rep of the Kansas City Valley. He received the KCCH in 1979 and the 33rd degree in 1991, He is a member of M.S.R.C.I.F. (Rosicrucians) He was appointed to the Fraternal Relations committee by MWB Stanley Thompson in 2003, Grand Orator in 2012 by MWB John Hess and Junior Grand Marshal in 2015 by MWB C. Brent Stewart.

As a fourth generation Mason he is still active all the Lodges in his District.
