MWB Robert T. Thomas

Most Worshipful Brother Robert T. Thomas was born in Kissee Mills, Missouri. He graduated from Forsyth High School and attended College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout Missouri. He and his wife Kathryn have two children, Andy and Shelby. They also have three grandchildren, Mabrey, Waylon, and Julianna Pearl. The Thomas family resides in Crane, Missouri where they are very active members of the Crane First Baptist Church. MWB Thomas served his country as a member of the Missouri National Guard from 1978-84 as a helicopter mechanic and crew chief.

He continued his public service by becoming a member of the Missouri State Water Patrol in 1981. While at the Water Patrol, he specialized in evidence and crime scene investigations and was nationally recognized for his work as a boat accident Reconstructionist. He retired from the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2012 after 31 years of service to the citizens of the State of Missouri. After retirement, he was employed by the C.O.M.E.T. Drug Task Force as supervisor of their evidence unit.

He continues his public service by serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the College of the Ozarks Associates and President of the Crane R-III Board of Education. He and his wife serve the Stone County Republican Central Committee as Lincoln Township chairpersons.

MWB Thomas is an endowed member of Galena Lodge #515, Galena, Missouri where he was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason in 1993 and served as Master of the Lodge in 1997. Tim served as the DDGM of the 43rd Masonic District in 2004 and 2005. Tim has served the Grand Lodge in many capacities serving on numerous committees. He is Past President of the Masonic Children’s Foundation. He currently serves as Honorary Chairman of the Masonic Home Board of Directors. Tim is a life member of the Missouri Lodge of Research. MWB Thomas (33°) is an endowed member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Joplin where he serves on the class committee. He is past Commander of the Joplin Council of Knights Kadosh.

Tim is a member of Kimberling City Chapter #164 of the Order of Eastern Star along with his wife and daughter. He is a York Rite Mason and a member of Springfield Chapter #15 Royal Arch Masons , Zabud Council #25 Royal and Select Masters, St. John’s Commandery #20 KT, and St. Christopher Conclave Red Cross of Constantine. MWB Thomas is a member of Abou Ben Adhem Shrine in Springfield, Missouri where he was a member of the ritual cast, Keystone Kops, and Shrine Bats. He is also a member of the Taney County Shrine Club. MWB Thomas is a strong supporter of Masonic Youth and has served on the advisory board of Taneycomo Assembly #100 International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
